HOW IT ALL BEGAN
I grew up in the Pacific Northwest with a shovel in my hand — building bike jumps in the woods before I could even drive. I loved reading the terrain, shaping it, and rebuilding when it wasn't quite right. That same technical instinct and a passion for machines followed me into a mechanical engineering career, and eventually into founding Dirterra Excavation. The equipment's bigger now and the stakes are different, but the core of it hasn't changed — I still love turning a piece of land into exactly what it's supposed to be.
